I am a Scientist and Product Manager dedicated to developing and implementing advanced technology for medical applications. Currently I am a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic, where I apply frontier artificial intelligence models to challenging problems in biology and drug development.
I completed my doctoral training in the Division of Medical Sciences at Harvard University, where I designed, fabricated, and patented an endomicroscope that visualizes cells inside the cochlea — the small, snail-shaped organ that shelters the sensory receptors implicated in hearing loss. My curiosity about how AI can be used to advance healthcare led me first to PathAI, where I led AI Product and Translational Research for their digital pathology products in Liver Diseases, and then to Absci, where I led a team of wet and dry lab scientists in building and experimentally validating generative AI tools for drug design. My team’s AI digital pathology work was published in Nature Medicine and qualified by the FDA for clinical trial endpoint assessment. The methodology underlying our efforts to develop and experimentally validate an AI platform for de novo therapeutic antibody design was recently described in a bioRxiv pre-print.
